The 7th Domestic Embedded Operating System Technology and Industry Forum (The 31st ESBF Forum) to be Held in Hangzhou

Embodied Artificial Intelligence represents the new paradigm of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the physical world. Embedded systems play an important role in this new realm of fusion and interaction. How to build a new innovative embedded computing system? How to realize a heterogeneous multi-core high-power computing platform? How to form a creative ecosystem for an embedded OS and its software stack? These are questions facing the embedded system industry. The 7th Domestic Embedded Operating System Technology and Industry Forum has been striving to advance the Chinese embedded system and embedded OS industries. We emphasize three focal points: industry, open-source, and the fundamentals, to help Chinese OS core technologies mature and realize practical applications. After close to a decade of endeavor, the forum is now the premier exchange platform for embedded system academic and industrial practitioners to collaborate.

The topic of the 2025 domestic embedded Operating System technology and industry forum is “Research and Practice of Embodied Intelligent Embedded System”. The forum agenda consists of special guest speeches, technical reports, a round-table discussion, and a visit to “The Industrial Big Data and Robotic Intelligent System Lab” in Beihang University Zhejiang Institute of Innovation, one of Zhejiang Province’s key provincial labs. The organizer will invite experts and academics who practice in product development, research, and open-source ecosystem building in the areas of embodied AI, intelligent systems, and software stacks related to these systems. Key subjects of discussion will include: the architecture and applications of embodied AI, heterogeneous computing, and edge AI acceleration chips that support embodied AI, embodied intelligence software stack, fundamental real-time OS, embodied AI big model, robotic controller, middle-ware development, and the open-source community.
