SylixOS Teaching and Practice Open Class

As Academician Guangnan Ni pointed out in his preface in SylixOS Application Development Guide and SylixOS Device Driver Development, AcoInfo has spent more than a decade since 2006 to develop a large embedded Real-Time Operating System with full intellectual property that can rival the industry-leading VxWorks – SylixOS.

In order to help higher education practitioners and students to learn about SyluxOS, elevate the influence of China’s domestic OS in higher education institutions, and to accompany the publish of the new books, Beihang University Press, Microcontroller and Embedded System Application journal, and AcoInfo magazine hosted the SylixO Teaching and Practice Open Class from May 11st to 14th each evening 7:30-8:30 p.m. Approximately 800 developers and higher education students/teachers attended this online event. A Q&A session and a listener ruffle were also held.

In the opening speech, Embedded System Beijing Forum Secretary in Chief Allan He pointed out: embedded RTOS has more than 3 decades of history, most well-known products were from Europe/USA. AcoInfo’s SylixOS is a rising start that have already found its way into aviation/aerospace. industrial automation, communication, and renewable energy sectors. The publication of the new books are important to the development and innovation of China’s embedded OS.
